Center Meeting House

During the recent Historic Homes Tour and Gala a raffle was held to raise money for the restoration of the CMH bell tower.  A painting of Newbury Harbor was donated by artist Peter Helwing, and over $2,000 in tickets sales was raised.  The drawing took place in the Meeting House after the tour and Barbara Steward was the proud winner.  A second drawing was also held and a runner-up was selected to receive a print of this beautiful watercolor.  Tom Dugdale was the lucky winner.

Peter Helwing was very generous in his donations as several prints were donated along with the original painting.  Most of the prints have been sold as well and more than $2,000 has been raised.  All of this money will be spent to restore the Bell Tower to its place of prominence.
